Five boys are accused of stealing a van last week and firing a gun at a woman’s house with two children inside, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Police were called to the South Jones Avenue area 2:30 p.m. Friday, in reference to someone hanging out of a van window with a handgun, according to the report released Thursday.

No one was injured during the shooting, according to police.

The minivan was stolen from Majestic Tours, the report states.

After several hours, officers spotted the van on Mt. Holly Road but the driver fled before police could stop him.

Another officer saw the van parked on Winchester Drive a short time later, according to the report.

The suspects were ages 7 to 15.
