Angel Morris

— Police found a nude Chester woman hiding behind an abandoned house Wednesday after she ran from officers when they tried to stop her for driving an uninsured car without a tag light.

Just after midnight, an officer operating radar on Dawson Drive noticed a car pass without a tag light shining, according to a Chester Police report. The officer stopped the car and realized the tag did not belong to the car.

As the officer walked towards the car, the driver, Angel Shuntaria Morris, sped off, according to the report. The officer followed the car until the driver turned down a dead end road.

Morris, 28, jumped out of the car, the report states, and ran. The officer deployed his Taser, but the prongs missed.

Another officer found Morris behind an abandoned house nude, the report states. The car, police discovered, had no insurance and the tag that belonged to the car expired in 2008.

Police ordered her to put her clothes back on and arrested her, the report states. She was charged with failure to stop for blue lights, failure to stop on police command, public disorderly conduct, reckless driving, use of license plate other than for which vehicle issued and an uninsured motor vehicle fee violation.

She is held at the Chester County Detention Center on a $3,600 bond.
