— A Rock Hill Walmart employee accused of stealing from the store on seven separate occasions was found with marijuana in her purse once police took her to jail on Friday, authorities say.

Police were called to the Walmart on Dave Lyle Boulevard when a store manager said that Shavon Unique Hall, 22, of Chester, stole money from the store on seven different days this month, including her most recent theft last Thursday, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Management estimated that Hall stole $440 from the store, the report states. Hall wrote a statement stating she stolen money, while the manager gave police a DVD of footage proving Hall’s theft.

Police charged Hall with breach of trust and took her to jail, where they inventoried her belongings and found .22 grams of marijuana in her purse, the report states. Hall told officers she had not smoked pot in two months.

She was cited for possession of marijuana. She was released from jail Saturday on a $1,000 bond.
