2 Rock Hill women accused of stealing at Walmart self-checkout lane

Rock Hill police have arrested two women accused of stealing more than $200 worth of items while using a self-checkout lane at Walmart on Wednesday morning.

Officers caught up with the women near Galleria Boulevard after a store employee told police that two women bought about $80 worth of items and concealed about $243 in bags at a self-checkout register, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Laquana Johnson, 22, of Rock Hill, and Ambra Roberts, 19, of Rock Hill, have been charged with first-offense shoplifting in connection with the incident at the Dave Lyle Boulevard Walmart, the report states.
