Aldi shoplifting suspect

Lancaster County deputies say they need the public’s help in finding a man suspected of stealing about $290 worth of meat from a grocery store more than a week ago.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office sent a news release on Friday asking that members of the public contact Crimestoppers if they have information about a black man between the ages of 30 and 40, traveling in a white Ford Expedition with a North Carolina license plate.

Deputies say the man suspected of shoplifting multiple times may be with a black female in the car.

The sheriff’s office released video surveillance snapshots of the man in the Aldi Food Store on Charlotte Highway in Indian Land.

The most recent shoplifting incident happened on June 4 at the store, according to the news release.

Deputies request that anyone with information about the man’s identity call the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office at 803-283-4136 or call Crimestoppers at 1-888-Crime SC (1-888-274-6372).
