Police have made a second arrest in connection to last week’s armed robbery at a Chester County Burger King.

Sandra Hilton, 37, of Chester is accused of helping her boyfriend David Cunningham, 38, also of Chester, who is charged with robbing the restaurant around midnight Thursday, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.

Chester authorities say Cunningham stole a money bag from the Burger King on J.A. Cochran Bypass after entering the restaurant with a gun and pushing an employee into a refrigerator, according to a news release sent last week.

Hilton is charged with being an accessory after the fact of a felony crime, according to a sheriff’s office news release sent Tuesday.

Authorities say Hilton picked up Cunningham after the robbery, and she and another co-defendant knew where the stolen money was thrown out from a car, according to the release.

She and another person picked up the stolen money for their personal use, the release states.

The third person has not yet been arrested but faces charges.
