Police arrested a Matthews, N.C., man around 3 a.m. Friday after finding him asleep in his car in the parking lot of John’s Place bar. A bag of white powder was clearly visible to the officer through the car window.

After waking up, the man, David Craver, 33, appeared extremely intoxicated but said the powder was cocaine, which he had purchased inside John’s Place, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.
