— A man who parked his motorcycle outside a Rock Hill motel on Tuesday was unable to recall the license tag number of a woman police say hit the bike with her car and dragged it across the parking lot before smashing it into another parked car.

Police were called to the Rock Hill Motel on Riverview Road at about 11:30 p.m. when a 28-year-old man said a woman driving a gray sedan hit his 1999 Honda motorcycle, according to a Rock Hill police report.

After hitting the bike, the woman dragged it over several parking spaces before driving it into a blue 2001 Ford Focus, the report states. The man told police the woman then drove away and he was unable to get license plate information.

His bike received about $2,500 in damage, police say.

The Ford Focus, which belongs to a Wilmington, N.C., woman, received about $1,500 in damage, the report states. The bike owner told officers another man witnessed the incident, but he could not find him once police arrived on scene.
