Theft at Rock Hill home construction site

Almost $800 in metal rebar was removed from a Rock Hill construction site in March, according to a police report.

The disappearance of the rebar, which is short for reinforcing bar and is commonly used to increase the structural integrity of concrete, was reported on Monday morning. The construction site is on Tallgrass Bluff within the Homes at the Parks community off Eastview Road.

The site was controlled by Adams Homes, a homebuilder based in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
