Two teens were arrested Tuesday afternoon after attempting to steal $351 in hunting equiptment from the Dave Lyle Boulevard Walmart in Rock Hill, police say.

Two boys, aged 15 and 16, were attempting to leave the store with the unpurchased merchandise in a shopping cart when they were spotted by a Walmart employee. The boys, who are from Catawba and Rock Hill, attempted to hide smaller items inside a larger box and also had concealed items.

Both were charged with shoplifting and were released to their parents with promises to appear in court.
