— A fire severely damaged a house on Grace Avenue in Lancaster Tuesday night, leaving a family without a home.

Firefighters fought the blaze for two hours, Lancaster Fire Marshal Stephen Blackwelder said. The fire started in the kitchen before spreading to the rest of the house.

Lancaster County Red Cross is helping the family, whom authorities have not identified, since the house is deemed unsuitable for living at this time, Blackwelder said.

To help, call the Red Cross at 803-283-4072.
