ROCK HILL — An 18-year-old Rock Hill man is being held on $25,000 bond after he allegedly assaulted deputies after officers responded to a call of the man lying in the middle of a busy Rock Hill street, according to police reports and jail records.
The altercation Thursday came just a day after another incident between Thomas Lee Boone Jr. and police after officers took him to an area hospital for a mental evaluation, according to reports.
Boone punched officers in the face and head , the report states. Two deputies required medical attention.
Boone faces two counts of assault, plus charges of throwing of bodily fluids on an officer and malicious damage to property, according to reports and jail records.
