Police: Rock Hill man robbed at gunpoint with stolen gun

Two Lancaster men are in jail after robbing a Rock Hill man at gunpoint at the Rock Hill Motel, police say.

According to a Rock Hill Police report, the victim, 48, was approached by two men who pointed a gun at him and took cash and a cell phone. The victim told the hotel clerk who called police.

While searching the area, police found the first suspect, Terrance Moore, 20, who admitted to the crime to officers, the report states.

While talking to Moore, police saw the second suspect, Ja’mes Blair, 20, leave the woods and run, according to the report. Police caught up to him after he ran across Cherry Road, the report states, throwing down a handgun as he did so.

Blair and Moore were charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy and possession of a firearm during a violent crime. Blair also is charged with possession of a stolen pistol.
