ROCK HILL — The driver of a station wagon that police say struck a Moped, killing its rider, was charged with failure to yield the right of way, Rock Hill police said this morning.
The collision on Anderson Road near York Technical College on Monday afternoon killed Ray Crocker, 59, of Rock Hill, who died at the scene, York County Coroner Sabrina Gast said. He was not wearing a helmet, police said.

The driver of the 1989 Volvo, Stephen Kortheuer, 21, was not injured, police said. He was charged with failure to yield the right of way after making a left turn in front of Crocker's Moped, police said.
The area near Tech Park Boulevard was closed for two hours before normal traffic resumed Monday night.
