Rock Hill man robbed by attacker with steak knife

A Rock Hill man was robbed by an intruder with a steak knife at his home Friday afternoon, according to a police report.

The victim, 56, was unlocking his front door when a man approached him and asked for money, the report states. When the victim told the robber he didn’t have any money, the man followed him inside the home where he pulled out a steak knife.

The victim then pulled out cash and gave it to the robber, who proceeded to “wrestle” the victim and threw him into the wall. After being thrown into the wall, the victim told the suspect to leave and he did.

The victim was able to identify the suspect, but police have declined to release his name because the case is still under investigation.
