BI-LO Bonus Card information leads to petty larceny arrest

September 4, 2013

— Rock Hill police used information from a BI-LO Bonus Card to make a petty larceny arrest Tuesday.

Arrested for petty larceny was Lisa Baker, 29, of 868 Bradley St.

Baker was arrested after Kritopher Locke and Michael Williams called police Tuesday evening to report someone had stolen two suitcases from the bed of the pickup truck they were riding in. The truck was parked in at the BI-LO on Cherry Road.

The suitcases had clothing, contacts, a phone charger, and household goods valued about $500, according to the police report.

Store officials showed police a surveillance video which showed a blonde woman removing the suitcases. A review of surveillance video also showed the woman had purchased groceries at the store, according the report. Store officials gave police her address from information filed for her BI-LO Bonus Card., the report states.

When police arrived at Baker’s residence they found the two suitcases open on the floor of her living room, according to the report.

She was arrested and taken to the Rock Hill city jail.
