LANCASTER — Deputies are searching for a Lancaster man who they say shot his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend in the leg on Monday, fled the scene and hasn't been seen from since.
At about 9 p.m. Monday, police were sent to 3217 Douglas Way Lane after receiving reports of a shooting, according to a release from the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office. They found a man, 24, suffering from a gunshot wound in his leg and took him to Springs Memorial Hospital.
He was treated and released, deputies say.
Investigators learned that Miguelito D. Davis, 32, went to his ex-girlfriend's house and confronted the victim, who is now in a relationship with her, the release states. During a confrontation, Davis shot the victim once in the leg.
Deputies have been unable to find him.
Now, they are asking for the public's help is sifting out Davis' location. He is charged with attempted murder.
