Authorities quarantined a Dachshund this week after a college student told police that the dog bit her nose and her injury required six stitches.
Rock Hill Police responded to the incident on Thursday afternoon at an apartment complex near Winthrop University.
The 21-year-old student told officers that she was on the floor playing with the dog named Buddha when the dog attacked her, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
The dog is typically not vicious, she told police.
York County Animal Control will quarantine the dog for 10 days, the report states.
