ROCK HILL — Rock Hill police are investigating a woman's report that she was raped in a playground.
The 18-year-old woman told police she was sitting on a curb in front of the playground on University Drive around 10:40 p.m. when she decided to return home, according to a Rock Hill police report. After sending a text to her mom, a man with a swastika tattoo on his left arm jumped out of the bushes and grabbed her by the hair, according to the report.
The man drug her a few feet inside the gate of the playground and forced her to have sex, the report states.
She was treated at Piedmont Medical Center. Police later found her missing pink flip flop at the scene. Officers collected her clothing for evidence.
The playground is at the site of the former York Preparatory Academy and Trinity Christian School.
Investigators did not list any details on the unknown alleged rapist.
