Nation Ford captures state marching band title

Nation Ford band members celebrate after awards presentations Saturday afternoon at Spring Valley High School at the state marching band championship. Nation Ford won the AAAA competition with a score of 94.675. Rock Hill and Clover finished fourth and third respectively, separated by less than one point. Northwestern was sixth. In the AAA competition, York finished eighth and South Pointe was ninth.

When the marching was done Saturday, it was Nation Ford that was celebrating at the state marching band championships.

Nation Ford won the AAAA competition with a score of 94.675.

Rock Hill and Clover finished third and fourth respectively, separated by less than one point.

Northwestern was sixth in the AAAA championships.

In the AAA competition York finished eighth and South Pointe was ninth.
