Voters in Fort Mill, Tega Cay, York voting today

Voters in Fort Mill, Tega Cay and York are going to the polls today to decide who will represent them on their city and town councils.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Voters will need to show one of five forms of photo identification to vote – a South Carolina driver’s license, an ID card issued by the state Department of Motor Vehicles, a state voter registration card with photo, a federal military ID or a U.S. passport.

Elections officials have said voters without an acceptable ID will be allowed to cast a provisional ballot.

Although Fort Mill has council wards, voting is at-large, meaning all registered voters who live within the town limits can cast a ballot in this election.

Fort Mill No. 2 – Glenrock Baptist Church, 1815 Doby’s Bridge Road

Doby’s Bridge – Doby’s Bridge Presbyterian Church, 2500 Doby’s Bridge Road

Riverview – St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 292 Munn Road

Orchard Park – Philadelphia Methodist Church, 1691 W. S.C. 160

Springfield* – Unity Presbyterian Church, 303 Tom Hall St.

* Voters in the Fort Mill No. 4, Fort Mill No. 5, and Springfield precincts will be voting at the Unity Presbyterian Church at 303 Tom Hall St. for this election only.

The Fort Mill No. 4 precinct normally votes at the Flint Hill Fire Department. Fort Mill No. 5, and Springfield precincts normally vote at Unity Presbyterian Church.
