— Four teenagers, two of them students at Rock Hill High School, are accused of stealing seven pit bull puppies from a man on Monday, police say.

Police spoke with two witnesses who live next door to the victim, a 22-year-old man, who said several people were around the house while his dogs were loose, according to a Rock Hill police report. The victim told police that four men were at his house, one of them wearing camouflage pants, two others in dark clothing and the last one was acting as if he were speaking with someone at the house but no one was home.

Police found one of the suspects on Cedar Grove Lane, and learned that two others were Rock Hill High students who were not at school on Monday when police went to find them, the report states.

Police have not located the stolen puppies, which are worth about $2,100, according to the victim. Police describe the suspects as teens, ranging in age from 16 to 19. No charges have been filed.
