Nearly $4,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from the Walmart at Dave Lyle boulevard in Rock Hill, according to a Rock Hill Police report released Monday.

According to the report, several people are suspected to have stolen at least 10 carts of items through the store’s garden center area without paying.

Last week, a Walmart employee provided police with in-store footage and still images of the suspects of the Oct. 22 incident. The report states that several other shoppers saw the suspects make several trips in and out of the store.

The video showed the suspects pushing several carts filled with toys, towels, blankets, furniture and electronic items as an employee at a nearby cash register watched on. It also showed the suspects talking to an unidentified Walmart employee.

The group of about six women and men were also seen loading the items into a red Cadillac sedan and a silver Ford Explorer.

Police are still investigating the incident.
