Reaching the top at Fountain Park Place in Rock Hill

November 12, 2013

Four months after its groundbreaking, Fountain Park Place was the site of a topping-out ceremony Monday in downtown Rock Hill.

A 22-foot beam was signed by construction crew members, as well as by city, Comporium and Leitner Construction leaders.

A U.S. flag and small evergreen tree were tied to the beam before it was lifted into place.

Fountain Park Place will be a 48,000-square-foot office building at East Main Street and Elizabeth Lane.
