— A Rock Hill High student was charged with drugs possession after police learned he stashed marijuana in his car while attending classes at the Applied Technology Center on Monday.

Police were sent to the center’s West Main Street campus after an administrator called saying the school received a tip that a student, 16, had illegal drugs in his car, according to a Rock Hill police report. While searching the student’s car, the administrator found a baggie filled with .40 grams of marijuana in the center console.

The student was charged with violation of the drug law possession of marijuana and released to his mother.
