ChristmasVille features Rock Hill parade tonight

December 5, 2013

The Rock Hill Christmas Parade – one of the main attractions of ChristmasVille each year – starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday with a new route to avoid downtown construction projects.

The parade will begin at the intersection of Oakland and Stewart avenues, travel along Oakland, turn right on Main Street, then right through the municipal parking lot next to Wells Fargo before ending at White Street.

Spectators will not be able to view the parade from White Street.

Oakland Avenue between Cherry Road and Stewart Avenue will close at 2 p.m.

The municipal parking lots at Elizabeth Avenue and Main Street and the lot on Black Street are closed. The White Street parking lot will close at 6:15 p.m. and remain closed until the parade is over.
