— Two women told police they dodged gunfire outside a Rock Hill apartment complex on Saturday after two men pulled out pistols and began to fire at their car.

The victims, 20 and 18, met with police on Albright Road at about 11:30 p.m. after they reported that they were shot at while pulling into the Glens Apartments on Glenarden Drive, according to a Rock Hill police report. As they drove into the parking lot, two men who were speaking with another woman in front of one of the buildings pulled out pistols and began shooting at their car.

The car was hit once in the driver’s side door, and the front driver’s side tire was struck several times, the report states. The women could not identify the gunmen, but were able to give police the name of the woman standing beside them.

Police spoke with the woman, who gave police the name of one man and the second man’s nickname, the report states. Police tracked down the mother of one of the gunmen, but she was unable to give information as to why her son would shoot at the women. Police are still investigating.
