ROCK HILL — A knife was confiscated from a 6-year-old Rock Hill student who had the weapon on a school bus, according to a Rock Hill police report.
An assistant principal at Oakdale Elementary School called police around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday after a school bus driver said the child had a small kitchen knife. The boy told police he brought the knife to school to "show his friends," the report states.
The boy was taken to the office, and later released to his guardian.
Police placed the knife in evidence to be destroyed.
