— Police are searching for the suspects responsible for shooting into a Rock Hill home early Tuesday.

At about 12:40 a.m., police were sent to a Tom Street, off West Main Street, house and spoke with a homeowner, 54, who claimed someone fired five to six shots in front of his house, according to a Rock Hill police report. Police found at least two places that bullets struck in the man’s house.

The homeowner claimed he did not hear a car leaving the area, the report states. He told police he did not know who would want to shoot at his house.

A damage estimate was not listed on the report.
