— A woman and girl stashed nearly $350 worth of perfume in their purses on Wednesday at the Belk store at the Rock Hill Galleria, according to police.

The store’s loss prevention manager called police at about 8:30 p.m. to report that while watching store surveillance video he saw a woman, between the ages of 25 and 35, with a girl, possibly 12, grab several bottles of perfume from the store’s cosmetics section, a Rock Hill police report states. Police say the woman wore a black jacket, black shirt and blue jeans, and the girl wore a gray outfit and sported braids and beads in her hair.

The girl put two bottles of Polo Red spray fragrance in her purse and the adult suspect stashed a bottle of Chanel Blue and two sets of Juicy Couture fragrance inside her purse, the report states. The suspects left the store, got into a car and drove away.
