Celebrations Bar and Grill

Rock Hill Police arrested one man in the early hours of Saturday morning after responding to gunfire reports at the Celebrations Bar and Grill on Cherry Road.

Celebrations is attached to the Ramada Inn near Interstate 77 in Rock Hill.

Officers arrived at the scene sometime after midnight, said Rock Hill Police Capt. Brent Allmon.

No one was injured during the altercation inside the bar, he said, but officers did recover a few shell casings from reported gunfire.

The incident is still under investigation.

The man arrested was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, Allmon said, and is not accused of actually discharging the gun at the bar.

It's unclear how many people were inside the bar when shots were fired.
