Student arrested at York One Academy

— A 15-year-old student at York One Academy was arrested on Wednesday morning after he argued and yelled at staff, according to a police report.

The student, an unidentified boy, was arguing with a teacher and refused to leave the classroom and go to the principal’s office as instructed, according to the York police report.

After being asked several times, the student finally left the classroom, but began to yell at the principal. He was later taken to the School Resource Office and arrested for disturbing the school.

The student was transported to the York Police department and later released to a parent.

According to the report, he was on probation at the time of the arrest. He is awaiting a petition to juvenile court.
