Police recovered a baggie of marijuana from the underwear of a Rock Hill man on Monday night outside a gas station, according to a Rock Hill Police report.

Deontre Williams, 24, was arrested on drug possession charges for marijuana and crack cocaine outside the Gulf Station on Heckle Boulevard, the report states.

A police officer noticed Williams’ car running outside the station without anyone inside the vehicle, the report states.

When the officer approached Williams at the store counter about the illegally parked car, he initially denied the vehicle was his, according to the report.

A struggle between Williams and an officer ensued when Williams began to run away from police after being asked for I.D., according to the report. Both men landed on the ground after the scuffle.

Williams was then handcuffed and searched by other officers who found a bag of marijuana in the buttocks area of his underwear, the report states. Police also found 1.24 grams of crack cocaine in the cup holder of Williams’ car, according to the report.

Williams also received a parking ticket.
