Fight over wedding color scheme leads to SC stabbing

— A woman stabbed a man Christmas Day after the two argued over the color scheme of their wedding.

Police say Krysta James, 34, is in custody after she stabbed a man Wednesday.

According to Sgt. Curtis Wilson, Richland County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in the 100 block of Twin Pond Road near Blythewood around 8:30 p.m.

Deputies found the man had been stabbed in the upper body, and determined that a verbal dispute occurred between the man and James.

Sgt. Wilson said the victim was taken to Providence Hospital by witnesses at the scence then then transported to Palmetto Health Richland where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
