Stephen Lee Grissom, 38, of Lexington and Edward A Rose, 45 of St. Matthews were arrested for violating a Lexington County ordinance that prohibits anyone from performing indecent sexual acts in public.

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts said Grissom and Rose were being held Tuesday at the Lexington County Detention Center. Both were later released on bond.

Deputies arrested both men during an undercover investigation around 9:34 a.m. Monday. Sheriff Metts said the investigation was being conducted after the department received complaints about illicit sexual acts taking place at the public boat landing.

Sheriff Metts said the undercover deputy saw Grissom and Rose walk together on a path at the boat landing. The deputy saw a sexual act take place.

The undercover deputy contact uniformed patrol deputies who arrested Grissom and Rose.
