A Rock Hill man is behind bars on a $250,000 bond after being accused of forcing a 15-year-old girl to have sex with him three times.

Gregory Edward Madden, 52, is charged with criminal sexual conduct, second degree, according to Rock Hill Police documents.

A York mother first reported the alleged sexual acts in December. She brought her teenage daughter to the Rock Hill Police Department, where the girl told detectives that Madden forced her to have sex with him at his home on Westover Circle, the police report states.

The incidents happened between April 2012 and July 2013, according to the report.

After about a month-long investigation, authorities arrested Madden on Wednesday. As of Thursday evening, he remained at the York County Detention Center.

The State Law Enforcement Division’s online sex offender database shows that Madden, known as “Greg,” has been a registered sex offender since 1991.

He served nearly four years in prison, according to the website, after being convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl in South Carolina.
