ROCK HILL — Two students at South Pointe High face drug charges after officials found them with marijuana inside a boys’ bathroom this week, police say.
At about 1:30 p.m., the school’s assistant principal walked into the restroom down the “C” hallway to find two students, ages 14 and 15, inside, according to a Rock Hill police report. One of the boys had something in his hands and claimed it was from the other student.
That second teen, who admitted he gave the drug to the other boy, said he found the pot in the restroom, the report states. Administrators confiscated the marijuana and watched school surveillance footage of the teens meeting at the entrance of the restroom.
Both boys were charged with possession of marijuana and released to their parents.
