Improperly parked York city truck causes $2K in damage

— A City of York employee failed to properly park his car, causing $2,000 worth of damage to another city-owned vehicle, according to a police report.

According to the York police report, the employee parked his truck on the side of E. Liberty Street at College Street, but failed to put the car in park mode. After the driver exited the truck, it rolled into into another city-owned vehicle.

The employee reported the incident to police last week.
