School bus crashes with pickup in Rock Hill

A school bus crashed with a pickup this morning near the intersection of East Black and Orange streets, according to police.

The bus was going to the Central Child Development Center and had 8 students on board, said Rock Hill district spokesperson Elaine Baker.

No students were injured, and the bus had minor damage to its front. All students were picked up and taken to Central and were in class before 8 a.m.

Police were on the scene directing traffic, but left shortly after 8 a.m.
