— A drunken Rock Hill woman was arrested after she threw an ashtray at her boyfriend during a fight, police say.

Julie Miller Ashworth, 45, was charged with criminal domestic violence Tuesday evening, according to a Rock Hill Police report.

Her boyfriend, who was intoxicated, told police she hit him in the head with the ashtray. He had multiple cuts on his forehead, a swollen knot on top of his head and a bloody left hand, the report states.

Ashworth, whom police called "intoxicated and uncooperative," denied attacking her boyfriend, and said they only had a verbal argument. She became hostile as officers placed her in handcuffs, and told a policeman her brothers were officers and he "better watch out" and "you'll get yours," according to the report.

She was taken to Rock Hill City Jail, where she was released Wednesday afternoon on a $1,000 bond.
