— Authorities say an unknown man exposed himself to a 19-year-old college student Monday night after asking her for directions to the Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen restaurant on Winthrop University’s campus.

The student told Winthrop’s Campus Police that she was walking from the campus center when the man pulled up next to her in his car, asking for directions to the restaurant, according to a university police report. As the student began to help him find Popeye’s, she noticed that he had exposed himself, the report states.

She was unable to provide extensive details about the man but told officers that he was wearing an orange hat and blue shirt. The suspect was driving an older model car in “good shape,” the report states.

No arrests have been made.
