A note to our readers about Friday’s Herald

February 13, 2014

Dear Reader,

Thanks for your patience this week as our delivery team battled winter weather. Your home delivery may run a little later than usual again Friday as our team confronts the black ice predicted overnight for York, Lancaster and Chester counties. Our field team will make every effort to get The Herald to you on time, but within the bounds of what weather and safety permit.

Because of the weather, we backed up The Herald’s news deadline Thursday night. You may not see all of the late-breaking news and sports stories you have expected in the Friday editions. However, up-to-date information can be found at heraldonline.com, and on our smartphone and tablet apps.

Remember, your subscription now includes The Herald both in print and digital formats. If you have not yet activated your digital account, you can complete the one-time activation process by visiting heraldonline.com/plus. Click on “Activate Plus account.”

Need help? For a step-by-step activation guide, visit heraldonline.com/activate.

If you do not have a digital subscription, this is a great time to try us out. We offer a one-month trial subscription for 99 cents. To sign up visit heraldonline.com/plus.

The Herald is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
