— A motorist who had no driver’s license and only a passport from Honduras to prove his identity was charged with third-offense driving without a license Wednesday evening after allegedly hitting a pedestrian walking across a Rock Hill intersection, according to Rock Hill police report.

Roger Alexander Hernandez, 25, told police he was driving a 2008 Honda Civic on Nations Court and attempting to turn on to Eden Terrace when he hit the man crossing Eden Terrace within a marked crosswalk, according to the police report. Hernandez told police he was going 10 mph at the time and the man was knocked to the ground. The report did not list any injuries to the victim.

When questioned by police, Hernandez was not able to produce a license, the officer said. Further, the report states, Hernandez also was convicted twice in 2013 for driving without a license.
