The HeraldApril 2, 2014

— Someone pried open a lost and found cabinet at York Technical College and stole several student IDs, driver's licenses, keys and debit cards, according to Rock Hill police.

A York Tech employee said someone entered her office between 3:15 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday and took the items, according to a police report.

The woman said her door had been locked. Police did not see any signs of forced entry.

It's unknown if the debit cards were active, but the woman said she would contact the banks about the theft. Students were asked to contact police if they noticed unusual activity on their bank accounts.

There were no surveillance cameras or witnesses.
