Nation Ford boys earn tennis win

The Nation Ford Falcons won five singles matches and one doubles match and defeated the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets 6-1 in a Region 3-AAAA boys’ tennis match at Fort Mill.

Singles

No. 1 - Jonathan Habbick (NF) def. Jay Karwatsky 6-2, 6-2; No. 2 - Raj Dwivedi (NF) def. Alex Malaj 3-6, 6-2, 10-4; No. 3 - Banks Reigel (NF) def. Erik Lewis 4-6, 6-1, 10-4; No. 4 - Alex Jacobs (NF) def. Matt Brautigam 6-0, 6-1; No. 5 - Davis Plasko (NF) def. Jack Cauthen 6-0, 3-6, 10-3.

Doubles

No. 1 - Jay Karwatsky-Matt Brautigam (FM) def. Jonathan Habbick-Raj Dwivedi 8-7; No. 2 - Chase Mahrlig-Alex Smith (NF) def. Matt Hicks-Kurtis Pharr 6-3, 6-1.

Josh Payseur of Great Falls fired a 35 to claim medalist honors.
