— A 62-year-old Blackstock man was killed when his pickup truck overturned on Mountain Gap Road in Chester on Saturday night, according to Highway Patrol and the Chester County coroner.

Alfred James Harper was traveling north on the road a few miles outside of Great Falls when he lost control of his pickup, veered off to the right side of the road and took down several trees.

Harper was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash around 7 p.m. on Saturday and was partially ejected from the car.

Chester coroner Terry Tinker said Harper was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident from blunt force trauma.
