York County debuts new citizen outreach program

Those interested in learning more about how the York County government operates are invited to apply for a new program debuting in May.

The York County 101 Citizens Academy is a free program that will walk participants through various government departments and give residents a look at public functions and services.

The program will run from May to October and will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon.
