AKA debs to be presented April 18

April 15, 2014 

The Eta Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s annual debutante cotillion, “Lovely Ladies of Splendor and Grace,” will be 6:30 p.m. Friday at Events at Manchester, 1965 Cinema Drive, Rock Hill.

Dress is semi-formal. Admission is free.

The nine debutantes who will be presented are:

•  Tanesha Ja’Nay Cook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion and Gail Cook. She attends South Pointe High School.

•  Alexus Dechelle Day, daughter of Vaseliki Daniel and Mr. and Mrs. Roosevelt Daniel. She attends Rock Hill High School.

•  Aliyah Brielle Gibbs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Al and Nikita Gibbs. She attends Cuthbertson High School.

•  Kaya Alexis Glenn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Angela Glenn. She attends Olympic High School.

•  Camryn Nichole Ivey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald and Kimberly Ivey. She attends Central Academy of Technology and Arts.

•  Melvinie Alicia Jackson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin B. and Stephanie Jackson. She attends Chester High School.

•  Alexis Vunika Nyirendah, daughter of June Lightfoot. She attends Cuthbertson High School.

•  Alexis Lynná Price, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clenzo and Felicia Price II. She attends South Pointe High School

•  Sheandria Tykia Walls, daughter of Shederian Walls. She attends Rock Hill High School.
