— Investigators in York County arrested a 22-year-old man whom they said started shooting at a Fort Mill hotel.

Investigators charged Michael Carr of Charlotte with attempted murder and possession of weapon during a violent crime. He was booked Tuesday at the Moss Justice Center, where bond was denied.

Officials said Carr walked into a high school party in February at the Comfort Inn on Avenue of the Carolinas and got into an argument with other teenagers over a girl. Carr shot a teen in the leg and fled, police said.

After an investigation, he was arrested.
