Lancaster robbery surveillance photos released

— The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday released surveillance images from an armed robbery earlier this month at a Lancaster store.

Officials need help identifying the suspect in the April 12 incident at Lloyd’s Store, 3849 Pageland Highway.

"The suspect acted aggressively toward the clerk and demanded money...obtained cash from the store and fled the scene. No weapon was displayed," according to a press release.

The suspect is described as a black man, 25-35 years of age. He is about 6 foot tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black hat, black-frame glasses, jeans, and a black-, white- and yellow-striped shirt. The suspect fled the store in what was believed to be a burgundy Chevrolet.
